CBOX RESORTS BY THE BAY is essentially the next generation of modern, cost effective & efficient illustration of modular architecture. The design concept, “contrasting architecture, adapting form” is based on the simplistic angular form of the product taking shape of mother nature. Illustrated through the wavy layout of the containers as a whole while maintaining both it’s original structural form and symmetry singularly or as a whole. also, to emphasize on its overall form 3 dimensionaly, the plot is staggered on 3 different sub-levels, creating a layering backdrop in elevation. This not only allows for efficient natural lighting but also increases scenic surface area.

ENVIRONMENTALLY, The layout creates a negative space sandwhich between the rows of hotel rooms frontback, forming a “wind tunnel” of sorts which essentially creates a high pressure force of air flow. This helps to cool the surface area of the development. In addition with the aid of landscaping and recreational facilities it adds to the whole environmental cooling effect, meanwhile provding for the necessary facilities & scenic nature.

FUNCTIONALLY, This hotel resort can ideally accomodate up to 160pax, 2 per room, with a total of 80 rooms each room with an approximate usable area of 28sqm. Each hotel room includes its very own queen-sized bed, en suite (bathroom), kitchenette, lounge & balcony, all at the expanse of the user. As for its facility provision this site caters for a garden park, a swimming pool, pool bar, 2 kids pool, 2 jaccuzi pool, two restaurants, a gym, spa & massage, a pub, a reception hall & back-of-house service rooms.

OVERALL, Cbox resorts by the bay is a “one-stop-shop” hotel resort in providing users a cost effective , relaxing & luxurious holiday getaway. In hopes to fulfill or influence up & coming developers looking to explore or invest in this line of business.
